Most Disliked
Some visitors express frustration over longer wait times, especially during peak hours when the restaurant is full. This can deter those looking for a quick meal, as the handcrafted nature of the food requires a bit more preparation. Additionally, although the prices reflect the high quality of ingredients, they might be on the higher side for budget-conscious diners. A few customers have also mentioned that certain menu items can occasionally sell out, particularly popular dishes like the crab cakes, which can be disappointing for those who were looking forward to ordering them.

Decided to give this place a try today, and it did not disappoint. The shrimp and grits were absolutely incredible—easily a 10/10. Perfectly cooked shrimp, creamy grits, and packed with flavor. The steak and fries were also spot-on—juicy, well-seasoned, and cooked just right. Service was attentive and friendly, which made the whole experience even better. This is definitely going on our regular rotation. We’ll absolutely be back!

We attended the Food Truck Rally last Friday where I got their mushroom Swiss burger. They fries and onion rings were both incredible. That was a 10/10 first impression so told my husband we had to go to their restaurant for him to try it. Chef Marko came to our table to go over the whole menu and some. I love having actual side dishes and not just fries and coleslaw like some places. Lol They brought home made rolls out that were sweet and so yummy, with a delicious butter with salt flakes. YUM! We got their last crab cake as an appetizer that came with an onion salad? Both were amazing. I like crab cakes but not the overly soggy, ones. These were a perfect crispy combo. For dinner I got the street potatoes with strips of steak, chimchurri, tajin, cheese and more. My husband ordered the 16oz ribeye with mixed mushrooms as his side. He devoured it lol the mushroom mix was incredible. I will disclaim the wait time is a bit long so if you’re in a rush this is not where you wanna stop, but for everything to be hand cut and home made it is worth that wait! Such a great addition to our side of town with only Mexican restaurant sit down food

We came here for the burgers but noticed Chef Marco had seafood and crab cakes out. We asked him about it and he explained that he comes the seafood world & will now feature specials. We had to try it. He made us such an amazing meal! We got shrimp, crab cakes, and grilled vegetables. The flavors were all different but all worked together! Hands down, the best food we’ve had in a looong time in the Huntsville area.

Lovely and cozy. Food was wonderful. (We have ordered meat to grill ourselves in the past and wanted to dine here). They did not disappoint!

Southern Wagyu has some of the best burgers in Huntsville. They are juicy, well seasoned and rather large in size. They are not the cheapest spot in town, but you get what you pay for. So if you’ve had enough fast food burgers and are looking for a serious upgrade, definitely give them a try, they do not disappoint!

I had the 12oz ribeye with fries. It was very good, and needed no sauce. My daughter had the mushroom Swiss burger. The price was very good too.

We stumbled upon the southern wagyu meat market by chance and WOW WOW WOW. 1st we learned we knew the proprietor, a fellow conch. THEN and MOST importantly, the most amazing food we’ve encountered in a long while and absolutely THE BEST food we’ve had in the Huntsville area. Beyond reasonably priced. Superb service from, Don and the most phenomenal amount of southern hospitality from Marco and Jennifer. You MUST visit wagyu meat market!
